Weshalb ich an der UZH tätig bin

I came to the University of Zurich after graduating in Veterinary Medicine from the University of Bologna, thanks to the financial support of an Italian university grant. This opportunity allowed me to begin a collaboration with the Clinical Laboratory at the Vetsuisse Faculty—a dream come true. The laboratory was renowned as a leading center for research on feline infectious agents, equipped with state-of-the-art technology and facilities. Under the guidance of my PhD mentor, Prof. Hofmann-Lehmann, I discovered the true meaning of engagement and passion in research. UZH provided me with an exceptional education and the resources to transform my ideas into tangible projects.
