I am a clinical pathologist specializing in veterinary diagnostic and research medicine, with expertise in hematology, cytology, laboratory diagnostics, and infectious disease investigations. My work includes evaluating automated hematology analyzers, studying leukemias in dogs and cats, and investigating hematologic changes in infectious diseases, supporting accurate and clinically relevant laboratory testing.
I serve as director of the European College of Veterinary Clinical Pathology (ECVCP) residency program at the Clinical Laboratory of the Vetsuisse Faculty and oversee the flow cytometry diagnostic service for veterinary species. Teaching and mentorship are central to my role, as I guide trainees across clinical pathology, supervise students, and deliver lectures. Through research, teaching, and diagnostics, I aim to bridge laboratory science with practical application and foster the next generation of veterinary clinical pathologists.
